Main warranty clauses are as follows:
1. In order to claim guarantee, a defect must be reported immediately after discovery. After establishing a correct claim of guarantee, we will decide if spare parts will be delivered or if the reparation be needed. Parts that have to be dismantled belong to us.
2. We take over a guarantee of one year or 800 working hours for our diesel and stationary engines.
3. We will not take over compensation for further costs in connection with a claim of guarantee.
4. We will not take over guarantee if there have been changes made on the engine or if the engine has been incorrectly used.
5. A natural wearing-down of parts is not included in this guarantee.
6. Guarantee claims cannot be demanded from a third person.
7. Costs for a preliminary estimate will be charged if the guarantee claim is not justified.
8. Vary important: Engine alone start by Glycohl in take in the intercooling system. - No Water - by water the Guarantee-missing!
Attention—read installation instructions carefully!!
1. Engine is delivered without oil- fill oil!
2. If it is not being lubricated from the engine, fill oil into the injection pump and regulator.
3. Clean oil cooler.
4. Clean air-filter, repeat action or filling of oil, check air-filter and induction line for leaks, and if necessary, renew.
5. Check connections from air-filter to engine for leaks.
6. Clean air-cooler and check for leaks.
7. Renew fuel filter that does not belong to the exchange. Check function of radiators.
8. Check temperature switch for proper function.
9. Clean cooler and check for passage. Fill coolant and air cold storage property. Check connection lines and renew if necessary.
10. Check engine fixture and renew if necessary.
11. Check electrical part.
12. Check function of engine control instruments and renew if necessary.
13. Start engine without ignition until oil pressure exists.
14. In case of necessary reparations on engines that we have delivered, we would be thankful that the necessary parts are built onto the old engine completely, including the reinforcement screws.
Oil change
Do not save on oil, especially within the first 100 hours. To make sure that other guarantee claims will not be guaranteed, please note the following instructions. Let each oil change within this guarantee term be confirmed in this brochure. Always use good quality oil (one that is recommended by the engine manufacturer).
Check oil stand often!!
These rules concerning the oil change are a part of the guarantee regulations.
Service as follows: 10 to 50 Hours
1. Change engine oil and oil filter in working temperatures, and further, check and change oil stand in the injection pump of diesel engines.
2. Visible check of engine for leaks.
3. Check and change valve’s distance if necessary.
4. Check cooling housing for leaks, tighten hose-rings and coolant stand and change if necessary.
5. Regulate engine in idle and check the exhaust rates. Change if necessary.
6. Tighten screws and nuts on engine. Attention: Note the torque rates given by the manufacturer, especially by the cylinder head screws.
7. Check engine fixtures and regulate if necessary.
8. Clean fuel filter.
◆Regulations to start the engines
- Check water;
- Check diesel.;
- Check oil;
- Lubricate engine;
- Check pump oil pressure;
- Regulate air-pressure for start;
- Diesel engine should hiss through the opened Bosch viler.
Start engine:
- Once the exhouse cover;
- Turnroad in the flywheel;
- All relevant valves should be operating;
- Start engine with the lever - from stop to start;
- Put into operation immediately;
- Then drive up slowly into the required speed;
The engine should be turned off with the reversed instructions.
